Those 8 burning questions begging for answers have just one answer- education.
- I have come to realize that ignorance is one of the major and effective tools that sexual predators use to catch unsuspecting victims in their trap. .
- Never before have we had so much information at our disposal since the beginning of the 21st century.Yet,how ironic that majority of people especially- the vulnerable section of the world's population have been endangered or is in danger due to sheer ignorance, lack of life changing/saving information that can shield.
- Education is the answer that can empower and shield a child, adolescence or adult from becoming victims of sexual abuse.
- Cultural inhibition on parents discussing sex with their "small" child is enmeshed with myths that is contributing to persistent ignorance among these vulnerable young ones that sexual predators continue to exploit.
- It is the right of everyone; the child, adolescence, parents and communities,to get adequate information on the issue of sexual harassment and abuse.
- Prevention of sexual abuse is imperative.
- The Government has to do more by making effective, systematic and continuous EDUCATION on reproductive and psychological health available to all from the grass root levels as one the most preventive.measur against child abuse.
